  • Beyond Choice

“Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;” ~ Deuteronomy 11:26 Some things in life are destined by choice and yet choice is just the beginning of a wider scope of the big picture. God desires to have a relationship with you; but first you must choose to have one with Him. Once involved in this relationship, both parties contribute and develop from that relationship. The outcome is a healthy bond; the result of a good choice. This healthy relationship has the potential to continue to new levels which is just as natural as breathing. Common sense tells you, you don’t choose to breathe; Okay, now, I will breathe in, and now breathe out. Neither do you take thought of the relationship to your One True Love, being with them, continually. Breathing is automatic, so is a healthy relationship. We expect a healthy relationship when we contribute to it and so does God. “Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, . . . “ ~ Deuteronomy 11:26-28 This verse is taken from the Old Testament and in the Old Testament; people couldn’t live in the Spirit as we can today, because Holy Ghost wasn’t given yet. They had to live for the Lord through the flesh; under the law. Living in the New Testament we are to go beyond the commandments. To actually live with the commandments written in our hearts. “. . . written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.” 2 Cor. 3:3 Through the Holy Ghost the commandments of God no longer become a choice but a lifestyle. We are not our own, but that Jesus lives in us and directs us. We daily live the complete law of the Lord and take no thought in it for it is a way of life. So, as we move through life and commune with our Lord Jesus Christ, He has set before us a blessing; blessing of integrity, honor, and truthfulness. We can have the peace knowing our ways are sure and steadfast. We have no fear for tomorrow, just confidence of what God has planned for us. “Behold, I set before you this day a blessing . . . “ ~Truth4Eternity
  • Cheer Up!

Reader’s Digest placed an article in April 2012 Issue. “Cheer Up!” 17 reasons it’s a great time to be alive. Good article. When I read this I felt the Holy Ghost move upon me to write” Cheer Up!” from a biblical standpoint. How I view it, there are more than 17 reasons it’s a great time to be alive, however for the sake of time and space I used only 10 of the 17 RD’s reasons. So keep in mind all ten of these subtitles are borrowed from RD’s article. 1.) WE ARE BETTER OFF NOW- After born again, we are way better off. And the longer we get to live for the Lord the closer we get to Him. That precious relationship with Jesus just keeps getting better and better. ~ James 5:11 "Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy." 2.) THE IMPORTANT STUFF STILL COST LESS- Holy Ghost! (enough said). ~ Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." 3.) POPULATION GROWTH IS NOT A THREAT- We are told by Jesus to reach out and find those who are lost. We are biblically encouraged to see population growth in the church. ~ Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." 4.) OIL IS NOT RUNNING OUT-Yes! Thank The Lord! God’s Holy Anointing Oil is not running out. In fact there is an abundance of Holy Ghost for everyone! ~ Acts 2:39 "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." 5.) WE ARE THE LUCKIEST GENERATION-We are living in the generation who gets to have the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Jesus’ Spirit in us). We also get to see the end time prophecies fulfilled; the plan of God unfold before our very eyes. We are pretty fortunate. ~ John 20:29 "Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." 6.) STORMS ARE NOT GETTING WORSE-Jesus is the Sabbath in which we can rest when the storms of life occur. Seems like everyone is going through some great difficulty in their lives today. Living for Jesus that just means you are chosen and the chosen, in order to become close to God, they must endure the storms. The way I see it, the storms are not getting worse, they are just happening all at once. ~ 1 Peter 1:7 "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:" 7.) GREAT IDEAS KEEP COMING-More and more I hear great nuggets of truth from the Bible and Saints are still digging deep to find even more nuggets of truth today. I love to find something new in the Bible. (Well, new to me.) I also love to hear preaching on something new. Yes! Great Revelations Keep Coming. ~ Galatians 1:12 "For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." 8.) WE CAN SOLVE ALL OUR PROBLEMS-Yes, we can. Through Jesus. Jesus has always been the answer for any problem. ~ Daniel 3:17 "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king." 9.) THIS DEPRESSION IS NOT DEPRESSING-Right. Depression economically and spiritually will not kill us. We can trust in God to deliver us from them both. ~ Psalm 34:19 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." 10.) OPTIMISTS ARE RIGHT-That is the only way to view Jesus. God is positive for any life. It is impossible to be a pessimistic Christian. That would be a major oxymoron. It just cannot happen. Christians are Optimists, we have hope. Hope in Jesus. ~ Psalm 42:5 "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance." ~Truth4Eternity
  • Bravo!

"Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

     ~ Philippians 4:4-7

You'll find the piano, equipped with eighty-eight keys, is more complex than its name. The ivories has the ability to create the most beautiful melody with various keyed combinations. The composer sees beyond the basic piano. He creates and corrects until the masterpiece anticipates the audience. Enthralling music grasps the audience while they listen intently to the story as it told through the blending notes. As the finale is punctuated by the last key stroke, the audience rises with applause. Bravo, they nod their heads in sincere approval, well done.

The listeners have felt the sorrow of the lost lover; they knew exactly when the couple was reunited, all within the presentation of the notes. Whether you're an artist, a pianist, or even the connoisseur, each piece enhances your character. A simple piano graciously transforms into a majestic instrument as the master's hands used as implements for the arrangement. You have been in the presence of greatness. You have heard, seen and felt the artist's creation, consequently, you don't view things the same anymore. The piano took on new meaning; it is no longer a mere instrument, but an object of beauty.

You sit there, alone. You feel as if you are nobody worth mentioning. Your claim to fame is that you work just like other people. Life is the same, day after day; children grow, holidays happen and seasons change. You survive.

The Composer sees you, and sees what no other person cared to find. Previously He has constructed a beautiful melody for you. The composition is all planned out and awaits for the opportunity to be implemented. He watches you until you decide to call upon Him. Everything is in place and is ready to move on your behalf as soon as you say the word.

You call upon the name of Jesus, and He hastens to your call. You seem to notice the Spirit of God has just gotten stronger around you. As the Creator touches the correct key points in your life, you, in turn, pray, worship, and do things for God with a special demeanor. Then, before you know it, your life has changed.

Each time you surrender and call on the name of Jesus you grow closer to Him in ways you never believed, thus, your life takes on new meaning. The relationship craves your attention. You desire more of Jesus. Your outlook isn't the same anymore. You have a peace about you that no one can explain away. You have been touched by the Master.

With your compliance, you, a mere instrument, took on an inner beauty as God fashioned a plan and utilized it. Your stunning transformation has become a testimony for the people in your daily life. They stand in awe as they applaud God with their actions. They too have been blessed by God's masterpiece. God benefits, the people benefit, you benefit. You, alone, changed by God, forever.

God nods His head to you in approval. "Bravo!"

  • Memories Rock

She reached into her purse and pulled out, not the intended object, but a rock. “How did that get in there?” she questioned. Nevertheless she dismissed it laid it aside and went on. The next time she found herself rummaging through her purse, low and behold she found that same rock again; off in another room her grandson was snickering. She had been tricked by her very own Grandson. She yet again, several times found this rock in her purse before they left for Florida to live. Her grandson hated to see her go. This had become their trick to one another for several years as Grandma and her grandson visited each other. When he got home from a visit to Grandma’s low and behold, there was that very rock amongst his stuff and when he returned to grandma’s he would lay it somewhere to be found later. That rock was sent in packages; you name it. Memories—fun stuff. Approximately twenty years later I came upon this rock. I had no idea why my mom would have a rock on her dresser. This was strange. It meant nothing to me (I thought). I think I just threw it away. However, a few days later my son asked me if I found the rock. I questioned what rock. He looked at me in astonishment then proceeded to remind me the rock that he and Grandma passed back and forth for years. I pondered that for a moment then all of a sudden it dawned on me. OH THAT ROCK! I told him I could have thrown it away because I forgot all about “The Rock.” I took something, that, in my thoughts was nothing, yet on the contrary was much more important and tossed it away as if it was nothing. I did not see it as it actually was. I stood completely ignorant in my own actions. Today we can liken that to our actions as well. Remember when you first loved Jesus? Remember how you would do anything for Him? Remember when you couldn’t tell enough people about Him? -- What Jesus had done for you. How your life was never the same. Jesus hasn’t changed. He still loves our worship and our complete adoration of Him. The Bible still comes alive when we read it. He still gives revelations of His Word to those who would take the time for Him. “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. ~ Revelation 2:4” An altar is a place established. It is meant to be there. In the Old Testament altars were erected for a memorial unto God because of something that God had showed them or because something that God has done for them. Most of these altar memorials were erected with rocks. These were strategically placed for generations to come so they remember the goodness of God! So that they too will tell the goodness of God to their children and so forth. Take the rock that you forgot down and dust it off. Bring to remembrance your desire to live for Jesus. Pray that the Lord will bring back that desire again. He will. If you sincerely ask, He will. Will it come naturally? No. The Bible will not open itself and read itself. If you do not pray, you cannot expect the miracles. Fasting is still necessary. Bless your family and those around you with the memorial of the blessings of God! Recall your first love, recall your desire for Him, and recall your complete desire to do His will, no matter what. Write it down, tell someone, ponder it in your heart. But please don’t dismiss it as insignificant and throw it away. ~Truth4Eternity

  • What is True Love?

What comes to your mind when you think of true love?

Two people who cannot get enough of one another.  The man would travel miles to be with that one woman who makes his wheels turn.  They look into one another's eyes and know, they just know.  Is that true love?

That happens to every newlywed don't it?  Didn't we all, when we said our marriage vows, look into one another's eyes and know this one is the one?

How long did it last for you?  How long until the honeymoon was over and you started to get on one another's nerves.

Ok, perhaps you are one of the few couples who do not see anything wrong with your spouse.  She has supper ready and your slippers by your chair when you get home from work. Everything about her is perfect. His hair is perfect, he remembers your birthday and flowers are sent to you every month for no reason at all.  Every bone in his body is romantic.  Fact or Fairy Tale?

But for the rest of us, true love is staying with the one you married through thick and thin.  In sickness and in health, til death do you part.  When everyone else appears to have that perfect marriage, you endure.  When abuses become relentless, you endure.  When there is no corner of a house to dwell upon, you endure.  When you give all you can possible give, you feel as if you have no more to give, you give more, you endure.  That is true love.

When your spouse treats the trash better than you, you pray for them, and you forgive them.  That is love. When troubles come your way and your spouse just adds to your troubles, you forgive them.  That is love.  When you need just someone to love you without speaking, your spouse hasn't a clue.  You forgive them.  That is love.

When your spouse treats every stranger better than you, you forgive them.  This is love.  When you are accused of various situations that you are not guilty of, you defend yourself.  Over and over you defend yourself.  You are accused for years.  Your spouse actually believes all of the accusations and talks to their friends and family to the point where they believe what is said and they look at you like you are crazy.  Your character has been defamed.  You feel like a liar, when you are clearly not one.  You feel guilty because of the stares because of the judgment in their spirits.  You could hate them, you could get even, you could even condemn them, but you forgive them.  You see beyond the faults, you see beyond your pain, you see beyond the present situation and forgive them.  Now That is True Love.

People all over the world wonder what true love is.  They ponder it.  Some are even eluded by the reality of it.  Study it, lecture it, counsel for it, look for it, yearn for it, but true love only comes from sacrifice. The recipient of true love, probably will never know how much was sacrificed for that love given.

God showed us what true love is.  Beyond the pain.  Beyond current conditions.  Beyond the lack of support.  Jesus died for us.  Gave His life for us.  True Love.

that a man lay down his life for his friends."

  • Jesus, My Dearest Best Friend,

How I long to be with You right now. It seems like years has went by since I told You how I feel about You, even though it has only been hours. Your unyielding power is overwhelming. I cannot forget the times when You've made me feel so special, more than just a personal special, but the highest adoration special. And now, I must confess, as much as I want to talk to You and commune with You all day, You must know that I cannot. At this moment, my responsibilities will not accept my total surrender in a worship atmosphere that I so long for. I fear my heart will burst for lack of Your immense presence. I know You hear my every heartbeat and my desire is to be with You. It is true. I love You because You initially loved me. How could I be so foolish not to return that love to You. How could my meager words express the emotions that overwhelm me. Oh the truth of the love that I am engulfed with when I think of You and Your wonderful Name.

You have blessed me physically. You have anointed me. You have established my directions. You turned my trials into an enormous spiritual gain. I cannot deny the fact that I know You so much more now that I ever have before. Am I worthy of such blessings? No. Yet, You've granted them. My thankfulness is greater than I could ever imagine. I cannot totally express the gratitude that I am overwhelmed with. You have protected me from my enemy. Daily issues afflict me that I cannot control, and You sustain me, encourage me and subsequently I am able to shake off that oppression once more. Daily thoughts of You comfort me and steer me in a direction closest to You. Heavenly thoughts replace hurt and anger. How do You do that? How can You take something that is totally wrong, totally hurtful and destroying and make it into a place of beauty and peace. Only You, O Lord.

Every time that I am in Your presence I cannot help but to weep. Because it is so right, because it is so wonderful, because it is so pure. With tremendous understanding I stand in awe of Your very Lordship. With immense wisdom I see Your abundance works. With vast knowledge I reverence Your very very existence. Who am I to question Your mighty plans? No, not I. I am here for You; lead me and guide me. Show me and I will go. With Your foreknowledge I am confident and content that I am protected in your arms; in Your care. You have taken me to places that I've never even dreamed of being. Somehow in Your counting, You have chosen me of such places. I won't question it. No I won't question it.

Our relationship is so precious that I won't risk anything. My soul desires You. I strive to be there in Your existence, always. The very mention of Your name I feel a deep admiration. The power that one name can possess is surreal and yet it is all real. Jesus, You continually set my heart ablaze in complete esteem for heavenly things. You place a profound reverence for all holiness within my being. Yes, You O Lord, the One True God. My Jesus, my father, my Deliverer, no words could ever express my true inner feelings, but I pray that this letter to You is close. And yet I will continually be seeking You, loving You, worshiping You until next time, Precious Jesus, when we shall embrace.

    ~ Me

so panteth my soul after thee, O God."

  • Hoosier Daddy?

Dad, Daddy, Father.  Who is your daddy?  You know your dad inside and out.  You know his thoughts and beliefs.  You know what you can get away with, and what you cannot get away with.  You know how he treats the rest of the family.  You may know him as the no show father that you only hear about.  You may not even know him at all.  You may have adopted someone else as a father figure in your life.  And that someone is the one you know all about.

Well, then there are people who know your dad in one facet or another. And truly he wouldn't show them how he is at home. Other people just sees what he shows them. They would only see the best of your dad.  Perhaps your dad is in fact a good guy.

You know your dad intimately.  You know how he ticks.  You know his likes and dislikes.  You know how far to push him.  Other people wouldn't know your dad as well as you know him.    Which may or may not be the true image of your dad.

Today at a funeral, I listen as the minister tried to convey a message of what Heaven was like.  And he quoted scripture verses.  The minister tried to convey what being with Jesus is like.  He used scriptures for that as well.  He stated that certain people was saved because they received Jesus as their personal Savior.

Then it occurred to me that if Jesus is just their personal Savior, they are missing the big picture.  I felt sorrowful for that minister as he described Jesus.  I know that after you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, Jesus wants a personal relationship with you. You do this with a lifestyle of praying, fasting, reading your Holy Bible.  Dying out to self and learning God's ways.

Who is your Heavenly Father?  Do you know him intimately?  Do you know His likes and dislikes?  Do you and Him talk? Do you hear his voice?  Beyond simple understanding.

Is your Heavenly Father your daddy?  Are you an obedient child?  Were you baptized in His name?  Did you receive His gift of the Holy Ghost?  Do you rely on Him for your sustenance?  Do you turn to Him in times of trouble?

Do you know your daddy's name is Jesus Christ.  And He loves obedient children.  Scripture even says obedience is better than sacrifice.

"Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,

and to hearken than the fat of rams." ~ 1 Samuel 15:22

And because you are obedient, He loves to bless those who choose Him, and choose to get to know Him better.

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."

    ~ 1 Corinthians 2:9-13

The Lord reveals Himself to those who seek Him diligently.  And then, when you talk about Jesus to others, you can speak with great authority.

    BTW- Yes, I have a Hoosier Daddy. ; )

  • LET IT POUR

Ever since the very first shower at my home, I have fell in love with our shower head.  It doesn't just allow water to fall upon you.  It doesn't just, "do the job" to get a person clean.  It gives you a torrential down pour.  It's almost like taking a bath standing up.  SWEET.  And when I stand under that hot water engulfing me, I cannot help but be so very thankful for that shower.  I can just feel the presence of the Lord soothing every inch of me.  Thank You Lord!

I think about the times that the Lord does that with His Spirit.  To engulf me in a torrential down pour of His Holy Ghost.  He doesn't do that everyday, however, if Jesus did, I know in my mind, I would common-ize it.   And the last thing I would want, is to allow any part of my walk with the Lord to be common.  I like the specialness of it.  I like the unique way I feel when Jesus sends down that torrential Holy Ghost rain.  I stand under it and allow it to fully engulf me to the point where all my inner pains, hurts, confusions, anger and nonsense is washed away.

And when I step out.  I may have to dry myself from the tears, but it was well worth it.  Life doesn't change, but my attitude does.  And with that I am satisfied that God has worked a miracle in my life once again.

    Yes, Lord, Pour it on!

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful." ~ Colossians 3:15

  • Your Special Gift from God

Ok.  Christmas time is here and we are all getting into the "Christmas Spirit".  Let's stop and reflect for a moment . . . what does Christmas mean to you?  When you think of Christmas, you think of  . . . . .

Lights?  Nativity scene?  Jesus?  Gifts?  Family?  Food?  None of the above?  All of the above?

When I think of Christmas, I think of the peace that comes with it.

    The Christmas Spirit.

You see, I was 29 when I first met Jesus.  So I had plenty of years to experience Christmas in the dark.  And when you live in the dark and Christmas rolls around, the first thing you look forward to is the lights.

Now, I know you Bible scholars reading this is doubting that Christmas could bring light because Jesus wasn't even born on that day.  True.  However, I can picture Jesus, looking at all of creation and their dedication to Him on that day and on the days prior to December 25, and being touched.  Then in turn, allowing a pouring out

of His Spirit on the Christmas Holiday Season; blessing it, sanctifying it.  And when people get the "Christmas Spirit", they are actually feeling the peace of God flowing.

I know I felt the peace of God before coming to church.  Before I knew who Jesus was, I hated for Christmas to end.  Oh, how I would loved to have been able to prolong Christmas as long as I could.  Just as soon as Christmas was over, that Spirit started to leave just as well and then all we were left with was the dreary winter.

That was then and now;  I know who Jesus is and I have that peace all year round. I have that Christmas Spirit living in me, called the Holy Ghost.   I am blessed beyond measure  because I get to live in the light everyday of the year.  That blessing doesn't come with a price tag, it doesn't come with time served, it doesn't even come with contingencies; the blessing of Christmas Spirit all year round comes as a gift.

Just as you love to give gifts to your children and loved ones around you, Jesus, our Heavenly Father, would love for you to have His Holy Ghost this Christmas season.  His gift to you.  Won't you open it today and have peace all year long?

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:

and the government shall be upon his shoulder:

and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,

The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

    ~ Isaiah 9:6

  • You'll Find it in the Last Place Looked

We always find what we are looking for in that last place.  Yes, that does sound funny as well, because when you find it, that place is the last place you will look.  You  won't continue to look for something you have found.

When looking for something to fulfill the soul, people look in the last place.  It seems many people look through drugs, alcohol, even food.  They try various social circles, different activities.  Some even fall into depression after that which they sought has failed them.

I know when I was looking, the last thing I wanted to hear is something about the Bible.  Because I associated the Bible with Religion, boring church services.  I couldn't stand the same old sermons about how bad I was and how I am a sinner.  <YAWN>.  Tell me something I don't know.

What I didn't know was that everyone was sinners.  Some are just saved through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Did I look in the last place?  Moreover, the question is:  Was I looking? Yes.  Tired of living life as a mass robot.  Looking for something meaningful in my life, I didn't find Jesus, but Jesus found me, He knew my situation, and knew what I could be. But at the precise moment, When I was looking, is when Jesus made His move for me.  He waited until I was done.  When I was done with my robot life, done with my own ways, done with the lies of  the world.

And when I attended the correct church, my eyes were opened.  I realized that not only had I attended the wrong churches before, but I also realized who Jesus is.  Jesus knew all along who I was and the things I was going through.  But He was bound by His Word to only move when asked to.  I didn't realize serving Jesus was so much fun.

The music is live, the Spirit moving, and people are not starched.  It is sweet.  When I got baptized in the name of Jesus I became more vibrant for Jesus.  Then on top of that I received the gift of the Holy Ghost, wow!  Then the clarity of life fell into place.

"That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death."

    ~ Philippians 3:10

    Bottom line:

  • Who Am I?

I am not who you think I am.  I have no money to make me important.  I have no degrees so I am not considered intelligent. I am not popular, so I don't have a slew of friends.  I am not pretty, so people do not ask my opinion nor do they care for it.  I am not part of the "in" crowd, so I have no idea what is going on.  I am not related to anyone famous.  I do not come from a family of money. I am invisible.

In short.  I am a nobody.  I heard nobody is perfect, so that officially makes me perfect.  Right? Of course right.

But seriously, I don't have anything going for me.  Nothing. Zip, Zilch.  Big Zero.

But then, one day, when I wasn't even suspecting, Jesus got my attention.  I was wondering around in Nowheresville and there He was, Shining.  I saw, in amazement that there was the One who Created me. Who actually wanted to be with little ole me.  I have nothing going for me.  Yet Jesus seen me, when all others passed me by.  I was confused by this:  The God of all creation, yes, our Lord Jesus Christ wants to be with me?  Knowing my inhabitions, Jesus gave clarity.

I used to be a nobody with nothing going for me, but then, Jesus came and resided in me, creating in this nobody body a somebody body.

No, I cannot boast of myself, because there is no merit. I get to do service for my Creator, King Jesus. I am somebody to gets to work for my Lord and Master.  I am somebody who gets to worship the One True God Almighty!  I get to be in His presence.  I get to talk to Him.  And guess what?  He loves to listen to me.  Yes, little ole me.  The One who Created everything that we see and feel, and He loves to be in my presences just as much as I love to be in His.

    Jesus.

Jesus and me we make a good team.  I am somebody with Him.  The Almighty is in me, correcting me, perfecting me.

Thank You Jesus for getting my attention.  And being a gentleman about it.  : )  The most beautiful relationship I have ever known.  Who am I?  I am a child of the King.  That makes me royalty.

  • Clouds

Daydreaming has it's rewards.  Kick back and look at the clouds.

They are magnificent.  Look there is a turtle.  No, that looks like a whale.

Over there, a ship!  Where else can you see a dragon eat an apple?

Don't you just want to ride that fluffy one to wherever it takes you?  I am so sure that it would be the softest ride ever!

Life.  Do you really want to go through life without taking time for the clouds?  Do you want to miss the flowers and aroma? Just sit back and allow the breeze to cool you off.  Have you seen the real you lately?  Just the pure you.  The you that no one else knows about?  The you that you keep hidden.  Yes, that you.

Get transparent before the Lord.  Take all of the responsibilities and all the bills, take all the repairs, and all of the relationships, take all of the frustrations, and all of the failures and all of the joys and happiness, and tell them to Jesus. Fall on your knees and let Jesus have you.  You need Jesus and Jesus wants you.

Stop and look at the clouds.  Realize that they are in the sky, just waiting for you to relax in their beauty.  Jesus painted them . . . . for you!

  • Fruition of Favor

It s not what I think that matters. It is not what you think that matters. It is not what the majority thinks that matters nor what the minority thinks that matters. What matters is what does God think. What does Jesus, our One True God think? It is according to His Word that we live. It is according to His Word that we even exist. He spoke it and it happened. He spoke it and it came to pass. He framed Earth just by speaking it. So, you are having a bad day. That is tough. God is still good. God is still in control. Trust Him. So things are going your way, thank Him, things aren't going your way, thank Him. So, a relationship has gotten you down? Find that relationship with Jesus who fulfills all other relationships. So, you have more month at the end of the money? God owns all you see, He will see you though, providing you have given to Jesus what is due to Him first. Scriptures say, to seek you first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness. Look to Jesus before your troubles trouble you. Find out who Jesus really is. Invest in His light. Get to know God and He will show you more than you can imagine. He provides for His people. He is just that Father whom we can fully trust to take care of each and every need, want and desire; in respect that the want and desire is of a heavenly nature. God sees your heart and knows what you are devising. If you are pure, God sees that. If you have hid evil, God knows that also. You can't trick Him. He is the almighty. Omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient; that's our God! Trust Jesus to take care of your future. Trust Him to take care of you. Worship Him with everything you have in you and see the fruition of His Favor! ~ Truth4Eternity "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me." ~ 1 Corinthians 15:10
  • You Are All I Got

“As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried:

he is a buckler to all them that trust in him."

    ~ 2 Samuel 22:31

I was just thinking, that in my life there are so many needs that I have.  I don't have anywhere to turn to, besides God.  I don't have any resources, besides God.  I don't have any special gifts.  I don't have anything going for me.  Nothing.  Except God.

All who I am is in God.  Jesus called me to a higher understanding.  He called me out of a dark and dismal world to give me hope.  He must have seen something in me that was worth the effort that I could never earn nor merit.

Even if I had somewhere to turn, I am not so sure I would go down that street.  I hope I would wait on God to move on my behalf.

Jesus, I trust You.  I am putting my whole trust in You.  I have nothing on my own.  My wisdom is from You. My knowledge is from You.  My understanding is from You!  And I enjoy the fact that I don't have to worry.  I don't have to take thought about the little things.  Jesus, You are my everything.

Thank you for being all I got.  Because You are all I need.

  • Do Yourself a Favor . . .

“Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually."

    ~ 1 Chronicles 16:11

. . . and seek God.  Find out exactly Who your God is.  I am talking about the One True God.  Not those little “g” gods.  I am talking about YOUR creator.  The creator of this whole earth, universe, animals, plants, humans, everything!

The big bang theory.  Yes, it is just a theory.  Come on, really?  You folks that have intelligence is going to still promote the big bang theory?  No one has ever blown something up to create.  It is an oxymoron.  That whole theory just isn’t remotely logical.  So, yes, we must find truth somewhere else.

Evolution- never happened!  We would have part monkey-part man today.  Nothing exists as such.  No creature has ever evolved.  So, we must yet find truth somewhere else.

I have an idea, let’s try the Bible.  It is the truth after all.  We know it has been proven over and over again to be the truth, so let’s start there.

    In the beginning . . . .

Yes, we can trust that what we read in the Bible is true.  And when we come to the realization that the Bible is true then we know we were created.  Not evolved, or blown up to exist, we were created.  Created with a thought in mind.  The creator designed us to be like Him.  Why create man?  Because God wanted us to choose Him.  While Satan is trying his best to dissuade us, God desires for us to choose Him.

Yes it would be great if He just told us.  That would be enough to shake the whole earth and people right and left would be converted.  However, that isn’t how God designed the flow of things.  We must choose on our own with the influences of Preaching, churches, people who already know, reading the Bible.

There is a part of God in each and every one of us.  It is called a conscious.  We can snuff out that conscious by ignoring its compelling power.  Or, on the contrary, we can receive back that Holy Spirit to regain control through Jesus.  It is called the Holy Ghost, Jesus in us.  We can be directed by the Director and help others by being ourselves full of that Spirit that dwells within us.

Do yourself a favor and seek out that One True God.  Get to know Him.  His name is Jesus and He is calling you today.  Don’t just go to church and sit on a pew.  Find out God’s will for your life today.  Find out who He is, His likes and dislikes, what to do to be in His favor, His plans.  Jesus is here, today, for us, but we must first desire Him.

Do yourself a BIG favor and get to know Jesus today!
